Come to the LT library on November 20th to participate in our second meeting of this school year. By coming to meetings you can learn more about the PTSA and earn points that will go towards your graduation cord! The meeting will start at 6:30 PM, make sure to mark your calendars trailblazers!

Jenn Atkinson, M.Ed, Founder/Owner of Bound College Coaching, will be presenting on the status of college admissions and what matters most in college applications! Since 2020, the college admission landscape has drastically changed! Gone are the days of applying to 1 university with all the confidence in the world to receive admittance! Whether you are in your first semester of high school or about to enter your last, come gain valuable insight into decoding what will matter most when it is your turn to complete college applications!

Rally Day
Rally day preparations have begun and the Frisco council is trying to gauge the number of people who attend. 2025 Rally Day Interest Form - Please submit the form by November 15th
When is Rally day : Monday February 24 2025
What is Rally day : It's a 1 day event ,when PTA members from all over Texas have the opportunity to meet their State representatives in Austin and discuss educational priorities, challenges etc.
Who should attend : - PTA Boards and Members who want to make their voices heard - Educators and administrators who want to teach and demonstrate the power of civic engagement, history, government, economics, media programs, and IB programs would all find value in this event. - Aspiring journalists, advocacy clubs, political science groups and government students who want to highlight issues that directly affect them and their fellow students with state representatives.
What to Expect at Rally Day? (SAMPLE SCHEDULE) 5AM - Buses depart Frisco 8:30 - 9AM - Arrive on Capital Grounds 9 - 11AM - Large meeting with speakers discussing the issues and legislative priorities (Students will have their own session) 11 - 12PM - Rally at the Capital!!! 12 - 1PM - Lunch 1 - 2PM - Meetings with State Representatives from our area where our group will have the opportunity to ask them questions and discuss issues specific to Frisco ISD
All attendees who will be traveling with Council must be PTA members. Additionally, it is an excused absence from school for students.

November is Healthy Lifestyles Month, and it’s all about adding fun to taking care of ourselves! It’s the perfect excuse to try a new sport or cook up a tasty healthy recipe. Making healthy choices doesn’t have to be serious or boring—instead, it can be a chance to explore new activities, spend time outdoors, and even challenge friends to some friendly fitness goals. So, let’s make November about feeling good, having fun, and setting ourselves up for a healthy holiday season and beyond!
